On June 22, the cross-Strait business delegation led by Sheng Huaren, vice chairman of the 10th NPC Standing Committee and vice chairman of the Cross-Strait Entrepreneur Summit, visited Changzhou and specially investigated the medical and health industry in Changzhou. Sheng witnessed the inauguration of the Cross-Strait (Changzhou) Health Industry Cooperation Base in West Taihu Lake International Health Industrial Park. Dai Yuan, deputy secretary of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, attended the Forum on Promoting the Development of Health Industry in Changzhou and delivered a speech.
Currently, the West Taihu Lake International Health Industrial Park has gathered more than 100 medical device manufacturers and over 300 medical equipment enterprises.
In the future, Changzhou and Taiwan will further utilize the advantages of industry, resources and information on both sides through pragmatic and efficient matchmaking, in order to create a high ground of cross-Strait health industry cooperation.
City leaders Wang Chengbin, Sheng Jianliang, Fang Guoqiang and Shi Zhijun attended the event.
