According to the latest statistics of the Bureau of Commerce, the e-commerce transactions of Changzhou in the first half of 2014 reached 49.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 35%. The B2B trading volume achieved 43 billion yuan, up 40%; and the online retail sales reached 6.3 billion yuan, an increase of 20%.
The e-commerce industry of Changzhou has shown characteristics like outstanding development of regional platforms, rapid growth of outsourcing services, growing influence of industrial agglomeration, positive transformation of traditional enterprises, etc.
