In 2014, about 120,000 new vehicles were sold in Changzhou, and more than 10,000 cars were registered per month. By the end of last year, the city's vehicle population reached 870,000, which is eight times higher than the figure 10 years ago, meaning there are one car here for every five people in Changzhou. According to the survey, more than 25% of the public prefer to travel by car. Interestingly, 38.1% of those who travel by car are aged from 18 to 30 years old, and 40.4% are aged from 30 to 45, meaning more and more young people are becoming car owners.
