On the morning of May 7, Trauhui Medical Instrument Co., Ltd. held groundbreaking ceremony for its medical device project in Wujin National Hi-tech Industrial Zone (WIZ). Vice mayor Li Xiaoping attended the event.
Trauhui Holdings is an equity investment company founded in 1997, specializing in health, education, brand promotion and service areas. In February 2014, Trauhui Holdings founded the Trauhui Medical Instrument Co., Ltd. in WIZ, engaged in orthopedic medical device research, development and production.
The new project has a total investment of 35 million US dollars and registered capital of 18 million US dollars, which will be carried out in two phases. The plant is located in the west of Yancheng river and the north of Longqing Road, with a total area of 40,000 square meters. After the project is put into production, it is expected to reach an annual output of 250,000 pieces of implant materials and artificial organs, 1,000 sets of basic surgical instruments and 2,000 sets of orthopedic surgical instruments.
In recent years, Wujin has fostered nearly 200 health-care companies with certain strength, covering multiple segments of orthopedics, hygiene materials and dressings, surgical implants, surgical instruments and many more.
