Between August 2 and 6, a teen delegation of five people from Hakusan, Japan visited Liyang.
On the morning of August 3, Lu Huiqi, deputy mayor of Liyang, met with the delegation. The head of the delegation Mr. Ikeda handed over mayor Yamada Noriaki’s letter to Xu Huaqin, mayor of Liyang, hoping to continue the exchanges between the grassroots of the two cities.
During their stay in Liyang, the delegates also experienced the traditional folk art, visited the Nanshan Bamboo Sea, participated in the English salon and hiking competition, and learned Chinese calligraphy and pottery. The four Japanese students also experienced the local B&B.
Hakusan is a city located in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. As of 31 January 2018, the city had an estimated population of 113,375 in 43246 households, and a population density of 290 persons per km². The total area of the city was 754.93 square kilometres. It is the second-most populous city in Ishikawa Prefecture after Kanazawa.
