On August 26, I learned from the transportation authority of Jintan district, Changzhou that the Maoshan Tourist Avenue will be open to traffic on September 28. The 2019 Jintan Maoshan Half Marathon will be held there on the same day.
Maoshan Tourist Avenue is about 26.8 kilometers long, starting from Jurong section on the Provincial Highway 340 and ends at the old Provincial Highway 240. As an important part of the Changzhou-Jintan Expressway, it is directly connected with Jintan Avenue, Jintan-Wujin Expressway, Changhong Expressway and Changzhou’s elevated highway system. It not only connects the two provincial tourist resorts of Maoshan Mount and Changdang Lake, but also serves as an expressway between Changzhou’s urban area and Jintan district.
After the Maoshan Tourist Avenue is open to traffic, in half an hour the citizens in urban area of Changzhou can reach the Maoshan Tourist Resort by car.
