On the morning of October 24, Mr. Fang Guoqiang, vice mayor of Changzhou and Mr. Reinhard Paß, mayor of Essen held a Changzhou - Essen Friendship & Cooperation Seminar. Paß first introduced the economic and social development of Essen, and then the general manage of Messe Essen GmbH introduced the successful experience of the company in a century, expressing their intent to cooperate with Changzhou in the field of exhibition business. Fang introduced Changzhou’s economic and social development in recent years, explained the cooperation feasibility between Changzhou and Essen in trade and economy, and proposed a economic and trade fair in Essen the next year, willing to promote the economic exchanges and cooperation between both sides.
