On Dec 8, the National Health and Medical Big Data Application and Development Seminar was held in Changzhou. Jin Xiaotao, deputy director of the National Health and Family Planning Commission attended the event. Ding Chun, mayor of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government, delivered a speech.
Currently, Changzhou has initially formed a "one center, multiple parks" pattern of health and medical big data. "One center" refers to the National Health and Medical Big Data (Changzhou) Center; and "multiple parks" refer to Jiangsu Zhongguancun Science and Technology Industrial Park, Maoshan Health Industrial Park, Changzhou West Taihu Lake International Medical Industrial Park, Changzhou Life and Health Industrial Park, and Changzhou Elderly Care Service Cluster.
Changzhou has established a "city-county integrated" health information platform connecting all public medical institutions and sharing the data, with a relatively complete electronic medical records and health records database covering the whole population. Last year, Changzhou ranked first in the grading evaluation of the regional health information platforms in Jiangsu province.
At the seminar, the launching ceremony of the National Health and Medical Big Data (Changzhou) Center was held. Changzhou’s relevant departments signed agreements on cooperation and co-construction with many well-known domestic institutions.
