On the afternoon of June 24, Mayor Ding Chun met with Ko Sheng-Feng, chairman of Kymco Industrial Co., Ltd., at the Administration Center.

Ding Chun said that KYMCO is a Taiwan-funded enterprise among the early investors in Changzhou, which has been steadily growing here for more than 20 years. The CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government will, as always, provide efficient services and create a good business environment for the development of enterprises.

Ko Sheng-Feng expressed gratitude to the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government for their support to KYMCO over the years. He said that KYMCO will use the new plant area to achieve intelligent manufacturing and green development.

Since the establishment of KYMCO Changzhou at the Changzhou National High-Tech District (CND), the district has attracted nearly 20 relevant enterprises to settle in the area. In 2016, KYMCO Changzhou made the plan to relocate and build the KYMCO Park which has been completed this year. It is estimated that the annual sales of the park will reach 1.4 billion yuan and the export volume will reach about 1 billion yuan.

City leaders Zhou Bin and Liang Yibo attended the meeting.
