On the morning of November 12, Changzhou’s first foreign academicians’ studio - Neil Foster Studio was inaugurated in Changzhou Science and Education Town. Mr. Xu Guanghui, member of the Standing Committee of Changzhou Municipal Committee of CPC and party committee secretary of Science and Education Town, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
Neil Foster is an academician of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, and is one of the distinguished experts of China's“1000 Talents Recruitment Program (1000 Plan)”, mainly engaged in chemical engineering and the research on supercritical fluid and high-density gas. Currently, the research team headed by Foster has applied for 20 patents in China, of which two have been already authorized. According to China's actual situation, Foster’s team will be committed to technology innovation and market orientation of advanced energy storage materials and biomedical micro reactor.
