The 2023 Jiangsu Provincial Vocational College Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition concluded on July 31. The Changzhou team once again demonstrated remarkable performance, securing 10 first prizes, 14 second prizes, and 20 third prizes, positioning themselves among the province's top performers. Furthermore, the Changzhou Municipal Education Bureau was honored with the "Excellent Organization Award."
This year, a total of 215 vocational colleges from across the province participated in the competition, with 81,749 teams and 304,900 participants, resulting in 405 projects advancing to the finals.
To vigorously promote the cultivation of innovative and entrepreneurial talents in vocational education, the Municipal Education Bureau collaborated with Changzhou Science and Education Town, the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, and the Changzhou Association for Science and Technology to organize the 13th Changzhou Higher Education and Vocational Education Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in June. The event attracted 136 projects from 21 secondary vocational schools and higher education institutions in the city, with 58 projects ultimately recommended to compete in this year's provincial competition.
The Jiangsu Provincial Vocational College Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition aims to seamlessly integrate innovative education throughout the entire educational process, nurturing a larger pool of innovative and entrepreneurial talents, and thus expediting the high-quality development of vocational education.
