May Day, also known as Labor Day, is observed on May 1 in China. The five-day holiday starting on May 1 is a public holiday that celebrates workers’ contributions to the country.
Sunday, April 25 and Saturday, May 8 are designated as working days to partially offset the five days off for the May Day holiday.
