On May 11, as one of the activities of the 13th China (Changzhou) Advanced Manufacturing Technology Achievements Exhibition, the 1st China West Taihu Lake · Global Business Forum was held in Changzhou. More than 200 economy practitioners, researchers and policy makers worldwide attended the forum and discussed the future of global companies and Chinese economy. Party Secretary Wang Quan attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
Wang said that faced with the new requirements of a new era, Changzhou will continuously deepen the reform and opening up, grasp the trend of economic globalization, actively integrate into the Belt and Road initiative, and positively carry out international cooperation and exchanges, in order to promote the reform in quality, efficiency and driving forces. At the same time, Changzhou will focus on building a modern industrial system to achieve coordinated development of the real economy, technological innovation, modern finance and human resources, and will spare no effort to build a high-quality leading industrial city and a new Changzhou with strong economy, rich people, beautiful environment and high social civility.
