On the morning of July 10, Elektror Changzhou celebrated the opening of its new facility, marking a significant milestone as Elektror Group's first production site outside of Europe.
Elektror is a leading global manufacturer of radial blowers, centrifugal and axial fans, and side channel blowers. With its headquarters in Ostfildern, Germany, and production sites in Wagh?usel, Germany, and Chorzów, Poland, Elektror employs approximately 450 people worldwide. In recent years, Elektror has been actively expanding its presence in the Asian market. The new factory in Jintan, Changzhou, will complement its existing production facilities in Europe and play a vital role in the group's international growth strategy.
Jintan has embraced Germany as a benchmark and fostered increased openness and collaboration with foreign countries, particularly Germany. The Sino-German (Changzhou) Innovation Industry Park (SGIP) serves as a platform for German-funded enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta and facilitates deep integration of Sino-German industrial innovation. Currently, the SGIP hosts 55 companies with a significant German-speaking presence, attracting a total investment of over 2 billion euros.
