According to the officially released information from the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission, between 00:00 and 24:00, March 11, no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Jiangsu. A case patient who was in critical condition became a severe one. One additional patient has been discharged from the hospital.
As of the 11th of March, 631 confirmed cases have been reported in Jiangsu accumulatively, of which 93 were in Nanjing, 55 were in Wuxi, 79 were Xuzhou, 51 were in Changzhou, 87 were in Suzhou, 40 were in Nantong, 48 were in Lianyungang, 66 were in Huai’an, 27 were in Yancheng, 23 were in Yangzhou, 12 were in Zhenjiang, 37 were in Taizhou, and 13 were in Suqian.
As of this update, all the patients diagnosed with COVID-19 in Nanjing, Changzhou, Suzhou, Nantong, Lianyungang, Huai’an, Yancheng, Yangzhou, Zhenjiang, Taizhou and Suqian have been discharged from the hospital.
Of the traced 12,650 close contacts, 12,627 have been discharged from medical observation, while 23 are still under observation.
Experts urge the public to take necessary health precautions and maintain healthy hygiene habits such as wearing a mask when going out, washing your hands frequently, covering your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze, and keeping your room well-ventilated. Avoid crowded places so as to reduce your risk of infection.
